Clusters

There are three Clusters

Cluster 1 Skills

         Java, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% questions will be on Java and ANSI SQL)

Cluster 2 Skills

         Python, ANSI SQL, Cloud fundamentals (85% questions will be on Python & ANSI SQL)

Cluster 3 Skills

         C#, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% questions will be for C# and ANSI SQL)

You can select your preference list of two Clusters

For. Eg,

You can Select First preference like Cluster 1 and Select Second preference as cluster 2

Which Cluster to Select?

Java as First Language

If you have done everything in Java like core java and other things. You must select Cluster 1. Regardless of having low knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. As 85 % Questions will be on Java and SQL Cluster 1 is Preferable.

Python as First Language

If you have done everything in python. You must select Cluster 2. Cloud fundamentals and other things can be easily covered.

C++ as First Language

If you are having C++ as first language then there is one problem you have two options.

·       If you are having interest in Web Development you can select Cluster 1. You just need to learn some concepts and frequently asked questions of Java.

·       If you are having interest in machine learning then you can select Cluster 2. You just need to learn some concepts and frequently asked questions of Python.

Cognizant always puts this question mark while selecting a Cluster. It is beneficial to Java Students. For other students, We must be ready to switch to any language at any point of time.

1. Reading

There are few paragraphs in this section and students have to go through the whole paragraph and answer the questions accordingly.

2. Grammar and Comprehension

A short paragraph and answer questions that test understanding of grammar and comprehension.

3. Speaking and Listening

There will be a topic on the screen, you will get time to think about that topic and than you have to dictate the whole passage or story based on that topic.

Aptitude Assessment will consist of Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. You will get qualified for next round based on the results.

Technical Assessment

It consists of

o   Two Coding Questions

Here we have coding questions with only one programming language according to your cluster.

Web UI Program
